PTU Racial Justice Committee

PTU members know our fight for education justice is inextricable from the fight for racial justice in Providence and across our country. Since June the PTU Educators for Racial Justice committee has met weekly to share, plan and take action. The Committee’s work spans convening internal anti-racist conversations, sharing and compiling curriculum and PD, external solidarity with students and families, as well as a space for members of color to organize and build a strong educator of color pipeline.

Check out the PTU Racial Justice Committee’s mission statement here.
